Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Hawaiian Roll Sliders
  • 12 rolls Hawaiian rolls sweet and soft
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken can use rotisserie chicken
  • 1 cup pineapple tidbits drained
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese melts beautifully
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise for a rich texture
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard for tanginess
  • 1 tbsp honey for sweetness
  • 1 tsp garlic powder for flavor
  • 1 tsp onion powder for depth of flavor
  • to taste salt and pepper for seasoning
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds optional, for crunch
  • fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, pineapple tidbits, mozzarella cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Step 3: Carefully slice the Hawaiian rolls in half, keeping the top and bottom halves connected.
  4. Step 4: Place the bottom halves of the rolls in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  5. Step 5: Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls.
  6. Step 6: Place the top halves of the rolls on top of the chicken mixture.
  7. Step 7: Combine the melted butter and poppy seeds in a small bowl. Brush this mixture over the tops of the rolls.
  8. Step 8: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Step 9: Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
  10. Step 10: Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
  11. Step 11: Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days.
