- Step 1: In a medium saucepan, combine the granulated sugar, cocoa powder, milk, and unsalted butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a boil. Allow it to boil for 1 minute without stirring.
- Step 2: Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the peanut butter, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
- Step 3: Add the quick oats to the mixture and stir until all the oats are fully coated.
- Step 4: Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto parchment paper or wax paper, shaping them into cookies.
- Step 5: Let the cookies cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or until they are set.
- Step 6: Enjoy your delicious no bake cookies!
Notes
To keep your cookies fresh, store them in an airtight container at room temperature. They can last up to one week, but I doubt they will last that long once you taste them! If you want to keep them longer, you can also freeze them for up to three months.
