Method
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Step 2: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
- Step 3: In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture with the frozen hash browns, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, salt, pepper, and paprika (if using). Mix until everything is well combined.
- Step 4: Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Step 5: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the casserole.
- Step 6: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Step 7: Once out of the oven, let it sit for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, then serve warm.

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
