Ingredients

For the Gummies
  • 1 cup 100% fruit juice choose your favorite flavor like tart cherry, apple, grape, or a mix of fruit puree and juice
  • 8 tsp grass-fed gelatin unflavored
  • 2 tbsp honey optional, can swap with maple syrup for vegan-friendly option

Equipment

  • Small saucepan
  • Whisk
  • Silicone Molds or 8x8 Glass Pan
  • Baking Sheet

Method

  1. Step 1: Pour your chosen fruit juice into a small saucepan and warm gently over medium-low heat until just warm to the touch, about 3 minutes. Avoid boiling.
  2. Step 2: Gradually sprinkle in the grass-fed gelatin while whisking continuously to avoid lumps. Stir until fully dissolved and mixture turns clear or slightly opaque.
  3. Step 3: If using fresh fruit puree, blend until smooth and transfer to a large bowl or spouted measuring cup.
  4. Step 4: Pour the warm juice and gelatin mixture into the fruit puree and whisk thoroughly until smooth. If not using puree, skip this step.
  5. Step 5: Place silicone molds or an 8x8 glass pan on a baking sheet. Pour the gummy mixture carefully into the molds without overflowing.
  6. Step 6: Freeze the molds for about 15 minutes to set the gummies firmly yet chewy.
  7. Step 7: Remove gummies from molds and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Enjoy within two weeks for best freshness.

Notes

For vegan gummies, substitute grass-fed gelatin with agar-agar powder (note texture will be firmer). Add vitamin C powder or probiotics after dissolving gelatin for a health boost. Customize flavors by mixing different fruit juices or fresh purees. Store gummies in airtight containers and refrigerate to maintain freshness. Freezing extends shelf life up to one month.
