- Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, combine the plain yogurt and cornstarch. Mix well until the ingredients start to come together.
- Step 2: Stir in the vanilla extract for flavor. It adds a lovely aroma too!
- Step 3: Continue to mix until the mixture is smooth and starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl. If it feels too sticky, just add a little more cornstarch.
- Step 4: If you want to add color, divide the mixture into smaller bowls and add a few drops of food coloring to each. Mix until the color is evenly distributed.
- Step 5: Use your hands to knead the mixture until it reaches a putty-like consistency. It should be stretchy and pliable, just like the silly putty of your childhood!
- Step 6: Your edible silly putty is ready to play with! Remember to store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator when not in use.
