Ingredients

Jack Frost Blue Curacao Bombs
  • 1 cup Blue Curacao bright blue liqueur with sweet citrus flavor
  • 1 cup coconut cream adds rich tropical creaminess
  • 1 cup whipped cream for light, fluffy texture
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar sweetens gently and dissolves smoothly
  • 1/4 cup gelatin powder helps bombs set into firm, tender shapes
  • 1/2 cup cold water to dissolve gelatin
  • 1/2 cup crushed ice adds refreshing chill and slight crunch
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract adds warmth and depth
  • edible glitter or sprinkles for extra sparkle and festive touch

Equipment

  • Medium bowl
  • Large bowl
  • Silicone Molds or Ice Cube Trays
  • Whisk

Method

  1. Step 1: Dissolve gelatin powder in cold water by stirring gently until fully dissolved. Let rest for about 5 minutes to thicken.
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, whisk together Blue Curacao, coconut cream, whipped cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and lump-free.
  3. Step 3: Slowly pour the thickened gelatin mixture into the Blue Curacao mixture, stirring continuously to combine evenly without clumps.
  4. Step 4: Gently fold in crushed ice to keep the bombs light and add icy texture.
  5. Step 5: Carefully pour the mixture into silicone molds or alternative molds, filling each about three-quarters full.
  6. Step 6: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until bombs are firm and set.
  7. Step 7: Unmold gently, arrange on a serving platter, and sprinkle with edible glitter or sprinkles for a festive finish. Serve chilled.

Notes

Substitute Blue Curacao with non-alcoholic blue sports drink or syrup for a kid-friendly version. Experiment with flavors like lime juice or shredded coconut for added texture. Freeze bombs ahead for up to 2 weeks and store refrigerated for up to 3 days. Serve on ice to maintain chill and shape during parties.
