- Step 1: Grab a medium bowl and spoon in your Greek (or plain) yogurt. If you’re a fan of a sweeter touch, drizzle in your honey or maple syrup now and give it a good stir until it’s perfectly blended.
- Step 2: Carefully spoon about a quarter of your sweetened yogurt into the very bottom of a tall glass or a pretty parfait dish, creating a solid foundation.
- Step 3: Next, take about half of your diced mango and gently spread it over the yogurt layer.
- Step 4: Spoon another quarter of your yogurt over the mango. Try to spread it as evenly as you can without disturbing the fruit.
- Step 5: Place about half of your vibrant chopped strawberries over the second yogurt layer.
- Step 6: Repeat the layering process with the remaining yogurt and the rest of your mango and strawberries until your glass is almost full, leaving room for the final touch.
- Step 7: Artfully arrange your banana slices on top. If you have any extra bits of strawberries or mango, sprinkle them on for a final flourish.
- Step 8: For that perfect textural contrast, sprinkle your granola generously over the top. Serve immediately.
Notes
Choose thick Greek yogurt for best layering; if using thinner yogurt, draining it through a cheesecloth for an hour or two can help it thicken up. Spoon ingredients gently to maintain distinct layers. Use fresh, ripe fruit for best flavor and texture. If making ahead, add granola just before serving to prevent sogginess. Use clear, tall glasses or jars to showcase the layers. Assembled parfaits are best enjoyed within 2-3 hours, especially with bananas, which brown quickly. For meal prep, store chopped fruits, yogurt (sweetened if desired), and granola in separate airtight containers in the fridge for up to 3-4 days, then assemble just before serving.
