Ingredients

For the Long Island Iced Coffee
  • 1/2 oz Vodka for that classic kick.
  • 1/2 oz Rum adds a touch of sweetness.
  • 1/2 oz Gin for a sophisticated twist.
  • 1/2 oz Tequila because who doesn’t love tequila?
  • 1 oz Coffee Liqueur the heart of the coffee flavor.
  • 1 oz Freshly Brewed Coffee the fresher, the better!
  • 1 oz Simple Syrup to sweeten things up.
  • 1 oz Cream or Milk for that creamy finish.
  • Ice
  • Coffee Beans or Chocolate Shavings for garnish.

Equipment

  • Shaker
  • Tall glass

Method

  1. Step 1: Fill a shaker with ice. This will help chill your drink perfectly.
  2. Step 2: Pour in the vodka, rum, gin, tequila, coffee liqueur, freshly brewed coffee, and simple syrup. It’s a party in there!
  3. Step 3: Shake well until the mixture is chilled. I love to shake it for about 15 seconds.
  4. Step 4: Strain the mixture into a tall glass filled with fresh ice. You want it nice and cold.
  5. Step 5: Gently pour the cream or milk over the top. This creates a beautiful layered effect!
  6. Step 6: Garnish with coffee beans or chocolate shavings if desired. It’s all about the presentation!
  7. Step 7: Serve immediately and enjoy your Long Island Iced Coffee!

Notes

This drink is best enjoyed fresh, but if you have leftovers, store it in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Just remember to give it a good shake before serving again.
