Ingredients

Brownie Batter
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups Snickers bars chopped
  • 1 cup caramel sauce for drizzling
  • 1/2 cup peanuts chopped
  • chocolate chips optional, for topping

Equipment

  • 9x13 inch Baking Dish
  • Mixing bowls
  • Spatula
  • Oven

Method

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, stir together melted butter and granulated sugar until combined. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  3. Step 3: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Step 4: Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  5. Step 5: Fold in chopped Snickers bars, tossing pieces with a bit of flour beforehand to prevent sinking.
  6. Step 6: Pour batter evenly into prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  7. Step 7: Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Check doneness with a toothpick; it should come out with moist crumbs but not wet batter for fudgy brownies.
  8. Step 8: Let brownies cool in the pan for about 10 minutes to set.
  9. Step 9: Drizzle caramel sauce generously over the top, then sprinkle with chopped peanuts. Add chocolate chips if desired.
  10. Step 10: Slice into squares and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Store brownies at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 3 days, in the fridge for up to a week, or freeze up to 3 months. Warm slightly before serving for best texture. Try swapping Snickers for other candy bars or adding peanut butter swirls for variation.
