  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
For the Crisp Topping
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted

Equipment

  • Large Mixing Bowl
  • 9x13 inch Baking Dish
  • Oven

Method

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches, granulated sugar, lemon juice, ground cinnamon, and cornstarch. Toss gently to coat the peaches evenly. Pour the peach mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  3. Step 3: In another bowl, mix together the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, chopped pecans, ground cinnamon, and salt. Drizzle the melted butter over the oat mixture and mix until everything is well combined and crumbly.
  4. Step 4: Evenly sprinkle the crisp topping over the peach filling in the baking dish.
  5. Step 5: Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the peach filling is bubbling.
  6. Step 6: Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm on its own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
