- Step 1: Remove steaks from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes to ensure even cooking.
- Step 2: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 3: Rub the steaks with olive oil and melted butter. Season both sides generously with steak seasoning.
- Step 4: Place the steaks in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-12 minutes, flipping halfway through. For medium-rare, cook around 8-9 minutes; for medium, 10-11 minutes.
- Step 5: Remove the steaks from the air fryer and transfer to a plate. Let rest for at least 5 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
- Step 6: If desired, top with steak butter or garlic herb butter before serving.
Notes
Pat steaks dry before oiling for a better crust. Use a meat thermometer to check doneness. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for 2-3 months.
