Ingredients

For the Steak Kabobs
  • 1 lb beef sirloin tender and flavorful
  • 1 red bell pepper adds sweetness and color
  • 1 green bell pepper adds a fresh crunch
  • 1 medium onion brings a savory element
  • 2 tbsp olive oil helps the marinade stick
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce adds savory kick
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce adds depth
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika adds smokiness
  • 1 tsp dried oregano adds herbal note

Equipment

  • Grill
  • Large bowl
  • Skewers

Method

  1. Step 1: In a large bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, black pepper, salt, paprika, and oregano. Add the beef cubes and toss to coat well. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
  2. Step 2: If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning while grilling.
  3. Step 3: Thread the marinated beef cubes onto the skewers, alternating with pieces of red bell pepper, green bell pepper, and onion.
  4. Step 4: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Step 5: Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally.
  6. Step 6: Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or side dishes.
