Unbelievably Easy Nutella-Stuffed Cookie Pie

This Nutella-Stuffed Cookie Pie recipe captures that cozy feeling of baking with Grandma, but with a super-easy twist! It's unbelievably delicious, surprisingly quick to make, and guaranteed to impress.

Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough:
  • 1 cup unsalted butter browned and slightly cooled
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Filling:
  • 3/4 cup Nutella

Equipment

  • Large bowl
  • 9-inch pie dish

Method
 

  1. Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until light brown and nutty. Remove from heat and cool.
  2. Whisk together browned butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract.
  3. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish. Press half the dough into the bottom.
  6. Warm Nutella until softened. Spread evenly over dough base, leaving a border.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of remaining dough over Nutella. Spread to cover, leaving a rustic look.
  8. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until golden brown and center is set.
  9. Cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Add nuts for crunch, swap Nutella for other spreads, add melted chocolate after baking, or use seasonal flavors.
