Ingredients

  • 2 liters Grape Soda chilled
  • 52 oz Lemonade chilled
  • 1 quart Club Soda chilled (optional)
  • 1 quart Rainbow Sherbet
  • Sprinkles for garnish

Equipment

  • Large Punch Bowl
  • Ladle

Method

  1. Step 1: Combine the Liquids: Grab your biggest, most festive punch bowl. Gently pour in the chilled grape soda, then follow it up with the bright, zesty lemonade. If adding, now's the time to include your club soda. Give it a gentle stir to combine.
  2. Step 2: Add the Sherbet Magic: Take generous scoops of vibrant rainbow sherbet and lovingly float them on top of your liquid concoction. Do not stir too much at this stage; allow the distinct, colorful scoops to sit pretty and watch as the colors begin to swirl and melt slightly, creating a magical, frothy effect.
  3. Step 3: Garnish and Serve: Before serving, add a sprinkle of spooky-themed or colorful sprinkles. You can also add fun garnishes like gummy worms, plastic spiders, or edible candy eyeballs. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Substitutions & Additions: Experiment with black cherry soda, lemon-lime soda, or sparkling cider. Use lime, orange, or raspberry sherbet for different flavors. Add pineapple, cranberry, or orange juice. For adults, add vodka, white rum, or spiced rum (label clearly). Garnish with gummy worms, plastic spiders, edible candy eyeballs, dry ice (with caution), or fresh fruit slices like lime, orange, or frozen grapes.
Tips for Success: Start with all ingredients well-chilled. Add sherbet just before serving to maintain its frothy effect. Do not over-stir once the sherbet is added. For large parties, consider an ice ring (water or grape juice frozen with spooky items) to keep it cold without diluting.
Storage: Best served fresh. Leftover punch (without sherbet) can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 1-2 days (fizz might decrease). Punch with melted sherbet can also be stored, but the texture will be less frothy. To prep ahead, combine and chill liquids a few hours or a day before, keeping sherbet in the freezer until serving time.
Less Sweet: Use the optional club soda, a less sweet lemonade, or a bit more plain sparkling water.
No Punch Bowl: A large pitcher, clean stockpot, or several smaller pitchers/glass dispensers will work.
Single Serving: Mix 1/2 cup grape soda, 1/4 cup lemonade, a splash of club soda (optional), and a small scoop of rainbow sherbet in a glass.
Kid-Friendly: Yes, this punch is absolutely perfect for kids!
